Permaculture uses the positive influences of animals on our agriculture in different ways. Starting with pollination through insects, using predators for pest control, the excrements for composting, certain products for food (e.g. honey, milk, eggs, meat,…), the habits of some species like the scratching of chickens, the “pruning” sheep do and so on. This is only a very short list of the multitude of positive effects animals can have on our farm. We try our best to maintain or if necessary create a great diversity. We’ ll maintain natural habitats and create artificial ones like insect hotels, ponds and even stables.
